Freya Fugle
She arrived last week and she is gorgeous (very camera shy, though). As quite often happens, she did not want to live where I had envisioned her, her colours clashing with the garden themed bracelet I had had in mind when I rehomed her.
But she took one look at my Freya´s bracelet and jumped right on it
I later googled Freya and ladybugs and found out that the ladybug (though its most common association is with Mary) is said to be an animal sacred to Freya, as well. The Germanic name for ladybug is said to have been freya-fugle (Freyas Vogel - Freya´s Bird). She somehow looked even more smug at me, when I found that out - so here she is on her new bracelet and here she will stay

Re: Freya Fugle
Maybe she just figured she should hang out with the bees?
She does look right at home there, so clearly she knew what she was doing!
