Crochet-Prize.... yippeh....

On Saturday my beautiful Crochet-Prize arrived and I bet Naranja knew exactly what she was going to crochet for me, I was really very surprised, the colours are exactly what I love, happy colours, spring colours.... I am so much longing for spring, so this gorgeous crochet-flower made my day

so, here are the pics, I also loved that beautiful card ( I just love owls, detective Naranja must have found out!)
I made a bracelet to match my flower I have been wearing now for 2 days and I love it! with matching leather and necklace

Beautiful card and crochet flower. I love both of them. The pattern of the flower looks like Lucy's from Attic24. I taught myself to crochet (sort of!) after discovering her site a couple of years ago and being inspired by her bright, happy, cozy colours. I really need to get back to it, I haven't actually finished anything I've started yet

Yes, I love her blog. It's such a happy positive place. I also love that I've found someone else who not only knows her blog, but can actually crochet! Your flower looks just as good as Lucy's. I've only made granny squares, and haven't joined them together. I started making a baby blanket before my daughter was born (June 2011!) and started a cushion in April 2012, which is about 2/3 finished, but it was getting wonky and the two halves didn't have the same number of stitches in each row! I think I give up a bit too easily when things aren't going well. Apart from that I almost finished a baby beanie, but didn't make the ear flaps or edge it. When the weather here gets a bit cooler I'll try to get back to it and at least finish the cushion.
