GORGEOUS!! I haven't had a chance to try out my GHAC bangle...it just arrived today, but I think I'm really going to LOVE it too!
(I don't have any issues with the TB one either though, I find it comfortable to wear)

Sorry, I thought that I might get this question, but since I bought the first one more than 30 years ago, I do not rightly know. The other bangle I got from Anna James, and I do not know that one either

Re: Felt inspired with non-TB bangles
they both look terrific! But the blue one is very special - those beads go together so wonderfully and you did a great job matching them with the smaller silver - I would like to wear it immedeately!! What kind of stopper did you use on the blue dangle - they have a very nice shape - looks much better then the TB ones.......

Re: Felt inspired with non-TB bangles
Thank you!
The beads came as a set of three, and they do look good together
The stoppers came with the bangle, and I have asked Anna what the brand is and where to buy. Maybe I can give an answer later, if there is one.
Edited to add:
"Those bangles are generic and completely sold out"

Both great but I really love your first bangle. It is so much nicer than the Trollbeads one.

I like that one also. I have a bracelet with the screw end ball which I use some days.Brightonbelle wrote:Both great but I really love your first bangle. It is so much nicer than the Trollbeads one.

Looks like a similar bangle on ebay - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sterling-Silver-Bangle-for-Trollbeads-etc-Sz-7-/380401078376?pt=US_Charm_Charm_Bracelets&hash=item5891abd068

Re: Felt inspired with non-TB bangles
I did a search for "beadable bangle" and several inexpensive, silver plated ones popped up.
I've ordered from this site before and was really happy with the beadable pen and beadable bracelet helper. I know that bracelets are sterling silver but for the price--I think it will work

Re: Felt inspired with non-TB bangles
TrollBlossom, it looks like you have found a site who sells them.
Mine is sterling silver and still very smooth and pliable.

Re: Felt inspired with non-TB bangles
I tried the TB bangle but the XS was still too big for me and it kept flipping over, beads side down. I have one like Bluesybead's second one and love it. The slight flexibility allows you squeeze it so the beads stay on top of your wrist. I saw some sterling ones on the site below. It is important to note that the solid bangles are thinner in diameter and less flexible and the TB (and other brand) stoppers may be too loose for it. The flexible one (AXC-9412) is thicker in diameter, probably closer to what I have and to the TB bangle diameter. this store also had lots of different stopper choices. Be sure to read their detailed descriptions for both bangles and stoppers about size and fit.

The first bangle is very unique and looks great with the beads. The second one I prefer to the TB bangle also the stoppers are much nicer.

Re: Felt inspired with non-TB bangles
Love your bangles, Bluesybeads. I too am looking for a bangle as I love all the designs with only few beads but the TB bangle is too expensive for my liking.
Raspini has a nice silver bangle with screw ends - might get that one
