Another jewelry box is the wooden version with 4 trays and rods that's been on the market since 2008.
A very practical and attractive storage for many beads and bracelets.

Those are very cool, TFS! I like the shape, easy to tuck away in a corner where DH might not notice as much. I would need many of them. I have always wanted to have the wooden one but shipping to the US is almost as much as the product itself.

I know exactly what you mean about the wooden ones - have you looked at the Windsor Machinist's toolchest at Harbor Freight? It has 6 small drawers, two larger drawers, a lift up top with another storage compartment and it was only $89 when I bought mine. I love it and just bought some brass 1/8" metal rods that DH cut down to fit into the smaller drawers. I put multicompartment organizers in the top section and two larger bottom drawers for ready to wear bracelets and necklaces.

Are the pie boxes just for the European market? Or only Benelux?

Re: Trollbeads Jewelry Boxes
Not sure. Up till now I've only seen them Benelux wide, not outside yet. However I'm sure some jewelers will happily ship these abroad if wanted.
The jewelry roll similar to the one Nadia first designed spread quickly around the globe too. At least these new boxes are less costly to ship than the wooden jewelry box or schmuckvitrine. The schmuckvitrine was meant for (German) jewelers to display and store their stock. When in 2008 customers kept asking and buying these jewelry boxes these were also included as storage options... and the price went up
I've seen the boxes in person today. They're very nice and classy. The schmuckvitrine is much more practical because of the rods to store and display the beads. But when you would like something nice to store RTW bracelets or some loose beads the new boxes are definitely a great and affordable alternative. I've been contemplating taking the two versions home today... one bead or one jewelry box?
A bored DD kept me from making up my mind and I left empty handed...

Re: Trollbeads Jewelry Boxes
I love the pieboxes too, but I think you need at least 8 for having the same storagecapacity as the wooden box. And that makes it both equally expensive. Some things are so nice, but you can't have it all. I'm happy with my schmuckvitrine, it still has some space left for new beads :-)

Re: Trollbeads Jewelry Boxes
I'm positive you need more to match the same capacity... but it is nice for someone starting as an additional Xmas gift... as they're not that expensive.
Another box Trollbeads offers is the white jewelry box.
From Trollbeads UK: http://www.trollbeads.co.uk/white-jewellery-box.html
The best price I found for the US/CA is at TBG.

I really want the wooden one but it is just sooooo expensive! you would think Trollbeads would do an offer on the purchase price to encourage us mad collectors to fill it!

At least with TB you can buy a jewelery box seperate rather than have to spend a small fortune on beads to get a free box like Pandora.I'd love one of their pink jewellery boxes but refuse to spend silly money to get one!

Re: Trollbeads Jewelry Boxes
True.
What I would like them to do (as it's the only way i'll ever get one!) is to reduce it to half price so that I can afford to continue to buy beads to put in it! If only they could see how much my buying would need to increase to fill such a monster box!

Now that would be just the deal to convince me! Shall we suggest it to TB HQ?

Re: Trollbeads Jewelry Boxes
BeadThrilled, thanks for the picture from the white box also.
I love the wooden one but it's very expensive. I'm doubting if I should buy the white one or the new small ones.

I have seen pictures (yours I think ) but I have never made it to the store to see it in person. Thanks for the reminder, I REALLY need to do that but I would still love the troll towerretiredk9racer wrote:trollfinder wrote:Those are very cool, TFS!
