About the Olympic Games London 2012

While the Pandora collectors are awaiting the official release of the UK inspired charms, the official jewelry collection of London 2012 has been assigned to Links of London and they created an absolutely beautiful collection. Though Links of London is hardly considered for their bead charms -the brand is better known for their classic charms- the bead charms created for London 2012 radiate high quality and no-nonsense elegance. Up till today no news about Trollbeads presenting beads to commemorate the event but for our compilation of 'olympic charms' we've picked a few from the collection and a few UK specific beads.

Not the Olympics, but TB UK have released Diamond Jubilee bracelets on 30th April which fit the red, white and blue theme:

Nothing new here - but a discounted price.

I just really prefer the look of the Trollbeads. They really stand out to me when pictured next to those other two brands... Maybe it's because they aren't so shiny?

I prefer Trollbeads as well... The most detailed beads which are more than just a bead. Maybe it's possible to add "Victory" as well to the trollbeads section?

Apart from the Trollbeads World Tour Tea Party and Lovespoons, the only other beads that I was consider wearing from this selection are the Pandoras. I like nearly all the Pandora beads but have no intention of wearing an Olympic bracelet.

Chamilia have got some enamel flags for the Olympics, they also do a really nice Union Jack enamel bead and a limited edition crown for the jubilee- I think I shall be getting those too.
TBS jubilee bracelet is pretty unimpressive- I could make 2 myself -a bit like the 35th anniversary bracelet-most collectors could make their own as there was nothing new.

I've never had any pandora so far and never thought I would buy any but....but ... that double-decker bead is really lovely!

I got it too but am not thrilled about it being 'lazy' expanded 2D. Will return it.

Do love the Sweetie XS that I treated myself to... The little heart (similar to your Links of London UK heart bead) is a great addition to the 'standard' Sweetie bracelets by Links of London.

Well , you are right about the lion.The lion charm with enamel looks more interesting ,but I wanted a bead and in the end it matches with the heart bead.

A pity, they could've easily made a fabulous bead out of it. Nevertheless your necklace is awesome!

melina world have the Olympic rings my trollie girlfriend bought this she is a sports coach and doesn't usually wear her troll for work but this on a necklace by itself looks good
