Take a tour of Japan - Kimono theme Empty Take a tour of Japan - Kimono theme

I just LOVE Japanese culture. I have a very dear friend who's Japanese, lives in Tokyo. One of my dream trips is to visit her there...maybe one of these days Wink

In the meantime, I have to be happy to have a little piece of it around my wrist Very Happy And I AM very happy that I could complete this bracelet...

Take a tour of Japan - Kimono theme Japan_12

Zen Snake - RBF (Prosperity)
Noh Masks - TB Japan WT (represents a classical Japanese musical drama)
Sacred House - TB Japan WT (a traditional wooden cottage from Ancient Japan/"prayer" house)
Haori (Kimono jacket) - RBF (meant to be worn over the Kimono to protect it from the elements)
Geisha Girl - RBF (traditional, female Japanese entertainers)

Very pretty. Do you always wear your Kimono Beads together or , like me , do you sometimes wear them apart with other beads and stones?

Oh, I do like this bracelet!

I like the way the glass WT bead fits on the end and doesn't look out of place at all!

Yes, I like to wear them apart as well! I've got no qualms about mixing all my beads! Smile Artisans, other brands, TB, themes, you name it! If I like it, and I think it combines well, I just do it. Laughing

For example I LOVE the color of the soft/pink/peach Kimono beads, and I think they look very elegant with other combinations. But that really goes for all of them.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments!

I love those beads myself and I think, the kimono set was one of the most beautiful sets TB has ever done, together with the WT-Japanese beads that is perfect! Love

Hi Vesty,

Here is where I ordered mine from:
http://mangabeads.shop.multilingualcart.com/index_en_jpy_3.html

You always take a chance with customs, but I was lucky and it sailed right through, no fees. It was fast to arrive too! And the prices are good.

Thanks folks for all the compliments, I appreciate it! Smile
