Earthy Earth...

I was feeling like I needed a totally dark and brooding bracelet combo to use all the Kathy Perras Black NOE beads so, I rounded up all the dark and earthy artisan, Troll, Macrow & Perras beads I own and created...This. There is one authentic TB OE in the bunch but the rest of these are skillfully executed variations on the TB OE theme. The centers of the Earths themselves are a swirling primordial soup of magma-esque goodness. The Lava stones compliment that in that they are what the "soup" becomes. The darker more primitive styled beads lend just that and the silvers are just the smallest ones I could find to allow maximum glass bead coverage. Of course the silver "Earth" is the central piece of the puzzle from which all the other earths kind of spread out from. I can't help but think that FyreDrake will make the perfect lock for this as I really don't like the fish here but, he'll do til' "Drake" can make his debut.

Part of what really sets TB apart is how earthy they can be. Great I would think for a guy but I've never been a girly-type girl myself. I like some sparkle but, primarily, I'm most comfortable with organic and rustic and saturated and all the things that TB are so wonderfully capable of and that you really have a knack for. And yet what does romantic and feminine better than TB? Genius!

If I were you, I think I would drop the silvers, except earth, or just have coins on. In my opinion the seed and chequers do not fit in visually due to the form.

The father beads do fit in much better in shape on the version 2 and give a manly brake in the earth theme . Funny how a few beads can make such a huge difference in the overall appearence of a bracelet.

I think all the combos are beautiful, but I really like the original one the best...you do have a "style" of your own, and I also think I could pick out a Sir Charles bracelet in a lineup!! Gorgeous beads all round!!
