My Poor Mountain Crystal...

I had purchased a beautiful Swiss Mountain Crystal and added it to my Frog Prince, Iron Wolf and St Bernard. It was gorgeous - all crackly and everything. Was at work today and looked down and my poor mountain crystal was shattered all over the desk...

That is the second one I have heard of that has shattered...and the other one was on a necklace and had not bumped into anything.

Oh no, that's gutting. I would contact TB about it, they guarantee all their beads for 2 years from point of sale.

I just sent an email to Troll...hopefully the address the issue. It was such a pretty bead and I know it'll be hard to get ahold of one that is crackly like that again...

Yikes!!! I heard of another one also that shattered...I'm wondering if maybe they could be weak due to all of the "cracks". I really want 2 of them, but I'm kinda scared now. Would I wear them or just look at them??? I hope they make yours right with you!!

I hope they do something. The core was also off center, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it or not. I'm hoping I hear back from them quickly...

That fear has been why I've hesitated to buy one. Hopefully, they'll replace it. To know that at least two have shattered is just two too many!

Oh no, I'm sorry LilHobbit ~ unfortunately it's going to be the best, most beautifully crackly ones that are most prone to this happening . Hope you get a just as beautiful but stronger replacement!

I sure hope so...it's the weekend so I doubt I'll hear anything until Monday though...

OOH... that's sad! I wonder how many more of these will crack.

I had heard of a couple more from another friend of mine... I hope this isn't an overall design issue with the bead...

I have a crackly one that I love, and it has a small chip:( (which wasn't there when I got it) so I am being very careful with it. I am very sorry to hear that yours shattered, hope TB takes care of it to your satisfaction.

I'm so sorry to hear this!! It is also the second one that I've heard of but I do wear mine all the time on my WT bracelet and have had no problems at all. I'm rough and knock into stuff all the time as well so I hope TB HQ sets you up with a replacement and you have no future issues!!

It is sad your bead should break. Maybe it has done its healing job as crystals break when they have finished.

Oh no, that is very sad. Trollbeads will probably replace it - but what a disappointment .

I believe this can happen with any of the stones. I have a smooth pink quartz that has a huge crack inside and she has told me not to drop it.

Oh my that is so disheartening ... the crackly ones are the most beautiful too
