Very cool find Mermaid! So this was an old style TB OOAK, correct? Definitely a perfect match to your Tibet beads! I wonder if they had other stylized Chinese character OOAKs.... Excited

Nice one...I will be on the lookout too. It is a very bad habit reading this forum. It gets me in trouble. Although, I will never call it Fire ant since I have to deal with the darn things everyday in my garden. Razz

It looks Japanese/Chinese Kanji. I think it's　喜 symbol of joy,happiness,maybe longevity.

I really love your bracelet. I wish there were more "ethnic" beads to collect. I have about five longevity beads.....its one my all time favorite beads. Most of my beads are robin egg blue with the symbol in brown, and I have one pink with the symbol in glitter and one periwinkle blue...so, I totally get your "need" to go back and pick up the bead when you saw it in the window....
