Hallmark on Gold Stoppers

I purchased two gold stoppers today and I am wondering if they are real TB. They are both stamped 750 and LAA but there is a large (relatively speaking) space between the two, they are not one mark on top of the other. I have never seen this before and I was wondering if anyone else has. I tried to get a picture to post here but I cannot get a clear shot of the tiny markings. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I emailed pictures of the stoppers to TB in Denmark and they replied that they have never used a hallmark like that so the stoppers are not legit. Who would have thought that we have to be careful of stoppers too?!

My gold stoppers are hallmarked 750 LAA, but one on top of the other across the small width of the stopper (not around the ring like in Lord of the Rings).

Yes I got them on eBay. TB said the hallmarks where the "750" and the "LAA" are one immediately on top of the other are across the width are genuine. The stoppers I received had a relatively large space between the 750 and the LAA. Like they had to be stamped twice. I did open an eBay case and have returned them to the Seller for a refund. The Seller is upset that I have made the claim they are fakes, I don't think she (or he) knew. This is the 2nd case of counterfeit TB I have had in the last week.
