Milky quartz
I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of the first stone beads from Macrow, a milky quartz. Here it is between flounder and ocean, a lovely pale grey colour.
I have been aiming to get my seaside bracelet all greys, and so am now just about there. When I fist started collecting I saw a picture of Snork's 'Lord of The Rings' combo (on TBS) which was all greys, and I loved it. Since then I've been slowly collecting greys.
Snork, your photo is no longer showing on TBS website, I would love it if you could post it again
I really, really need to find that old bead wagon

Love the Milky quartz. The combo is beautiful. I have only seen the pale white milky quartz. I will have to keep my eyes open .

Re: Milky quartz
Beautiful!
I got some artisan beads from England that are a sort of greenish gray. They reminded me of the ocean and so I added nautical silver charms. But when I see ocean-themed bracelets they're so often the bright blues and greens of the Carribean that I thought I was the only one to think of the ocean as grey.

Wonderful sea bracelet, RT.
I agree that Caribbean greeny blues don't reflect the seas I know. When I get around to doing a beach bracelet, I'll be using more greyed tones also.
