Star Spangled combo

I desparately need to fund the bead bank, so I stopped myself (for now) at just getting the glass bead from the USA WT set. You can see how the shape of the stars vary. I would think the stars would be a difficult thing to create in glass.

Looks like you got hold of a great bead...looks perfect next to Milky way.

Nice combo with your new Star Spangled bead Wintertroll. The stars in the blue are really nice. I just bought the WH, Glass, & Old West this am. I must admit, the Old West & WH were much prettier IRL. However, the Old West is a flipper so be aware!

It's really super with the Milky Way and Milky Quartz, you got a great example.

this really does look nice. I may get the glass and possibly a smiley if funds allow.

Here is my USA WT bracelet so far. I was only going to buy the glass, but when I saw the Old West & WH bead IRL, I had to buy them too.

My husband serves in the military so this combo also honors him & all our other soldiers who makes many sacrifices for us as well. Also, both my kids birthstones are ruby/sapphire, so this also became my family bracelet.

The WH bead reminds me of all the WH tours my mom took us on every summer when we lived in MD, & the Old West bead is for all the wild western movies my DH & DS love to watch.

@madyznsmom - I love your combination. I worked for the military and federal government for over 30 years so the WH and Star Spangled have special meaning to me as well. The Old West represents the time spent traveling to TX and OK and NM (somehow never got to AZ)!

@Wintertroll - I love your combination as well. The Star Spangled bead looks great with Milky Quartz (must add that to my wishlist) and Milky Way.

The glass is really very pretty and looks fantastic with blue and white beads.

Nice combinations. I even like the White house! Expected to be very bold and big but it is a nice one.
I see the American flag combines very wel with the reddish Kimono; a second life for that one.

Love your OOAK flower bead on there. My DH is military also and my DS's birthstone is the ruby. How's that for a coincidence ?!

Wintertroll, what a great coincidence. Looking at this bracelet with the new beads makes me even more proud of my DH & yours as well for all they sacrifice and do, & for us wives who stay by their side. I lucked up on the flower unique a few months ago from bead sensation. It was not cheap, but I think well worth the money as it is a true beauty.
