I have the blue leather, I haven't used it yet, didn't know which colors to go with and was disappointed it wasn't as light as the picture.
Now seeing yours I have some ideas..

What a lovely shade of blue on the leather! Mine is also too long (the store was out out of the shortest one which they said was their most popular size) and I have taken to wearing mine as a necklace.
