Your very first bracelet

Do you have a picture of your very first completed bracelet and how many of the beads do you still have?

Here is mine and I still have all but three of the beads on it, for me I am often far more sentimentally attached to my early carefully chosen or gifted beads, than ones bought maybe slightly more greedily later on

This was one of my earliest bracelets, if not the very first.

This was my first completed bracelet.


I think that Snails in Love and the Frogs are the only ones I don't still have.

I started collecting in September 2008 & my original plan was a pretty awful rainbow of glass (Double Flower, Blue China, Red Parrot, Red Berry Orange Chakra, a yellow Orange Steel, Earth)  The only ones I didn't eventually swap out were the two red beads . . . by the next spring I had created the following bracelet (I have all of these beads except the Blue China):

here are a few of mine from the beginning.  these are some of the very first beads i personally purchased for myself, excluding pandora which i had collected for a long time prior to branching out.  i had received many trollbeads as gifts, beginning in 1998 from friends in Denmark.  but I did not purchase any trollbeads for myself until 2008.  my older sister got me hooked on trollbeads in 2008.  i got myself hooked on pandora in the early to mid 2000's, and proceeded to get myself hooked on artisan beads and RBF about the time my sister got me hooked on troll in 2008.

Mine celebrates Spring.

These were my first beads. I do not have pictures of those early days, so they might have been arragend differently, but I used to have a favourite and pieced it back together later as good as I could - I still have them all

I have most of the beads, sold a few

I still have all the beads, but the green glass were cheap knock offs so I have upgraded

HeHeHe!  The blue phase was 100% influenced by my sister who got me into this expensive obsession in the first place.  The only beads I still have in my collection from the above 3 combos are the RBF OM, Buddha Head, and Tree of Life.  And the Trollbeads Gold and Silver Happy fish.  I sold all of the rest, and used the money to fund this bracelet.   I called it my cobalt blue bracelet.  It does feature two milky way beads that I kept from one of the bracelets above, but have since sold.  In fact, the only beads that still remain in my collection from my cobalt blue bracelet pictured below, are Trollbeads Happy Universe, Sun Bead, Three Stars, and the Lund Stopper.  I sold all the rest to fund my dark, dark blue and white bracelet.  I used to be insane.  But have since come to my senses.

BTW I still have all the beads--they are on a loaded necklace right now until next spring.

No problem, Rewritecity. Tablet and phone versions often are missing some of the features of a website. There seems to be a lot of things people can't do on Facebook with their phones, for instance.

Minty, that is an awesome 'first bracelet'. You knew what you were going for!  But, "in case faerybeads makes more awesome dragon beads" ?? I think that's "when", not "in case".

This was my very first real "combo" As you can see my photography skills were also quite lacking back then

I loved the beads in the Trollbeads Fall release that included the brown desert and chocolate parrott. That was by far my favorite release. I think the production glass beads in that release were amazing. Nice flash on your blue goldstone also. I love that bead too Stacecase.

Here is mine: I have all but Faces and I never wear the artisan bead...that was my first glass purchase.

mine was a blue and green bracelet , I bought right out of the window from a small, local goldsmith in 2010.
unfortunatelly i cann`t recreate it, cause I sold most of the glasbeads over the years.

This is my very first bracelet which I have kept together and still love wearing - it is mainly Hans Christian Anderson silvers and the Purple Glass  kit with a couple of other production beads

but actually I find it was this
