Do I need a lotus top?

So, it's our anniversary next week and DH is getting me a 70cm fantasy necklace with a white pearl and a giant lotus. (Already on the way).

As I don't have a LD who sell FN, I can't play with it before hand and I was wondering if will need a lotus top too? Or will it overwhelm the giant lotus. Does anyone have both, do they play well together?

I normally use lotus top on the end of a bracelet or 2 to frame a stone or glass bead, but hardly combine it with giant lotus.

I am afraid, I hardly have any glass beads, that go with the giant lotus. Normally I just put a pearl inside and combine it with a smooth rose quartz or other stone to match the color of my dress.
