Newly wanted bead

The most wondrous thing happened to me, today I took the unwanted beauty with me as well as the one I had marked to send off if I loved the unwanted because I will be on vacation (not away from home but post office free ) from tomorrow and wanted to post the unwanted to Aqua Aura before. I really liked the unwanted but could not think of what to do with it. I took both beads into the sunshine and only then realised that the one I have had for ages (it came free and unseen with a bracelet promo over a year ago) fit absolutely perfectly with my outfit today and today´s bracelet. I had never before realised the honey tone base of the bead... So I forwarded the lovely unwanted bead onwards and rediscovered one of my own. A wonderful day

It is the second from the left. I think they have a name but I can not remember what the pattern is called.



And a close up. It looks gorgous with my orange leather jacked and the orange/brown/antique white scarf I wear with it (The jacket has a pink flower inside that inspired the rose touches in the bracelet) .

Is allways nice to discover again a old bead. It looks well on the bracelet. I would name it a scallop for it looks like the shell open up.

Very pretty combo! I have a bunch of honey colored beads, but they never worked for me in combination with anything else and were very much a winter combination. This is so interesting and is definitely a summer combo - very inspiring...

@Natalyk: I used to wear the amber and honey coloured beads also mainly in autumn, but with last year´s beach kit they look really great for summer, too
