Night owl on a stick!
Here he is...my beautiful owl on a bead stick and chain. Really happy with him. Now I am looking for a stick shaped wood bead to use for a perch, for now the grungy amber works. Love him!
My husband says he looks like he ate lemon jello!

Nice, perfect to use a beadstick in stead of a fn with a dangle looking like the owl pooped
Re: Night owl on a stick!
I need to get a bead stick! And the owl! He is my favorite of the new release.

Re: Night owl on a stick!
I'm loving the bead stick. I didn't even know they existed until Strike told me about them in my other thread. It seems very versatile to me. I got mine yesterday when I visited Goldmine. I didn't know they had them..didn't remember seeing them on their website, but maybe since they aren't TB they don't put them online. I will write a separate post about my visit there--simply amazing!ceruleanbluebird wrote:I need to get a bead stick! And the owl! He is my favorite of the new release.
I think the owl has quickly become my favorite TB!

You have a good eye there. I picked the amber with the sparkly gold just for his belly!splinty wrote:I love his goldleaf feathered tummy and barky perch, you settled him in right at home kyhalfpt

Do you find that the owl's head spins around a lot? I know that's only natural behaviour for owls But I'd want to see the perky face, too.
Re: Night owl on a stick!
Yes, he spins like crazy. DH keeps calling him shy. I just keep telling him heis a sleepy owl, since birds often will tuck their heads to sleep.vicky_jb wrote:Do you find that the owl's head spins around a lot? I know that's only natural behaviour for owls But I'd want to see the perky face, too.

Trollbeads Upstate NY (FB page) has a photo of an owl on a fantasy necklace and he's sitting on a Lotus bead - almost looks like he's perched on a pinecone. May be of interest to you because you could do that with your stick

I was just thinking thank maybe just a tiny wee bit of seller tape within the head would make him stay still....
