Trollbeads Royal Orange and Aurora

Trollbeads announced to release Friday April 5th the Royal Orange bead to celebrate Prince Willem-Alexander will be sworn in as King of The Netherlands and his Royal Inauguration on the April 30th. Trollbeads Royal Orange bead will retail at € 39,- ($ 43) and is said to release world wide.


We also learned about the upcoming special edition release of the Aurora bead and bangle set. This set consists of Trollbeads bangle and stopper beads, and the new Aurora glass bead. We're not sure about the core size of this special edition bead. The set is said to retail at € 159,-.

The colourful light of the North has always fascinated people, and there are many myths related to this beautiful, natural phenomenon. The ancient people of the North believed that the Aurora was the fire of torches lighting the way to heaven.

I like the orange one, too, but I'm not sure if would get much use on my bracelets, I think I have to see it IRL to decide.

Oh, it would be a shame if it's UU, not for me then.
But I hope if they are releases as a set with a bangle, it would make more sense to do them with normal cores...?

The Aurora looks fantastic , but I am worried that we can see the core rim on Aurora (UU?) and we can't see it on the Royal Orange. Also, I don't want a bangle (much less 2 more stoppers) so I certainly hope it's not sold only as a set . . .

I dont think I am to buy as a set even I like this aurora bead so much. If tb bring down the price of the bangle they will sell more not have to keep doing this set only selling.

I bet the Aurora bead will be available months after this release. I can see many, many people wanting multiples.

I was hoping to get a bangle for my birthday in August. Currently in the US, some retailers are offering two free stoppers with a bangle purchase. I am not familiar with the Euro pricing. How does the Aurora price break down? Are the stoppers "free"? Is it a good deal for those who are interested?

I would add the Aurora to my collection. It will be spectacular. What vibrant colors!

The Aurora bead looks great! Interested to see whether it will be sold separately, what the price will be and whether it has a small or a big core. Don't really care for the Royal orange, although the cut of the glass is interesting...

They both look wonderful and keeping fingers crossed for classic cores!

Not sure about either, I'll have to see them in person first. I'm don't have any orange beads so not sure how I would use Royal Orange.

Does the universal core "roll around" more so on the bangle I wonder?
