I know that Heidis Shop got some great dillo and bubble OOAKs. But the best were gone fast and even for those 39,- Euro is too expensive.
I haven´t seen any new OOAKs at German shops Crying or Very sad

But bubbles and dillos are no new designs - so what are they up to Question

I saw the bubbles. They were nice but I used to buy them for £25/£26. Same with the dillos. I resented the £1 price increase to £26 and am not going any further.

The world is full of artisan bubbles and dillos.

My ld says that TB have decreed that all the old stock be sold off at the old price and then the new ooaks will be the new price.

According to her there is still an 'astonishing' amount of tibetian ooaks to be sold Very Happy

Has anyone else heard that the newbies will be 'big hole' to make them other brand compatible?

I will eat my entire collection of TB pouches before I buy an increased price ooak.

I am happy to buy some more Tibetan OOAKs if they have any of the nicer ones left and I can have them for £5.

Hey, that's a good one lol!

Finally something else than "the prices for gold/ silver/ production costs/ whatever have gone up".

It has been a piece of glass, it is a piece of glass and it will be a piece of glass - to increase the "value" by raising the price is just ridiculous. Good luck with this kind of marketing strategy (makes me wonder, what TB is thinking about their collectors).

My favorite dealers charge $5 more than regular glass for the OOAK's. I don't mind paying that as I prefer the OOAK's over regular... But we do have some here that charge regular price to 4 times more. My favorite dealers also charge regular price on retired beads, they do not mark them up for profit.

Some of them look very nice but lots of them are the same as before and others are really rather dull. They don't look like a new breed of Super Bead to me.

My LD has not received any of the "new" ooaks as of yet but she was told that they will all have the "universal" sized cores that the Haitian and charity beads had.

I think this is to draw in the Pandora and Camilla collectors with our much prettier glass and to get them in to see the Troll silvers.

I heard that the gold dealers and above still got the small cored beads, and can order the universal beads as well, but silver dealers will only be able to get the larger cores. This is how I interpreted it, but I may be mistaken.
