I think I already mentioned before that I'm quite fascinated by manned spaceflight. Which means I often keep track of the sighting opportunities of the space shuttles or the ISS in the sky.

A few days ago I was lucky because the weather was perfect and so I was able to watch space shuttle Discovery and the ISS flying one after another - for the last time, as it was Discovery's last flight.

This reminded me to finally make a space themed bracelet - really few silvers for a flowertroll bracelet, but as I don't own most of the typical space beads (the gold/silver ones), these had to do.

Oh, and my grey wolf has agreed to be a space shuttle while on that bracelet because my "new zebra" bead I bought for exactly that reason turned out to be too big for that design. Laughing

That is a really elegant bracelet (I will never get over how tiny your wrists are FT) and I am happy you got such a great view of Discovery's last flight.

I am envious that you got to see the last Discovery liftoff. It must have been amazing to actually be there. My dad was a rocket scientist so space flights have always been exciting for me.

Your bracelet is beautiful! Stars and planet are perfect silvers.

Lisa, unfortunately I wasn't there for the liftoff - I only saw the shuttle and the station flying across the night sky Wink
To actually see a shuttle liftoff must be amazing, but that dream most likely won't come true any more for me Crying or Very sad (But I'm always glued to my computer monitor to watch it on Nasa TV stream Laughing)

Waterlily, my bracelet is 17 cm (including the lock).

17 cm including lock! Your wrists ARE tiny! Surprised

Pity about your large zebra shuttle bead - could you wear it on a necklace?

I never really tried to see the ISS or the space shuttle in the sky - but it sounds very faszinating.

A beautiful combo - I love your space shuttle Smile

My son saw a liftoff when he lived in Florida and his best friend down there worked as a tour guide one summer between university semesters.
