Dragons...another few questions

I'm going thought the old topics, reading and watching the lovely creatures...I would like to know the following:

-Male o female....is it something you feel when it gets to you?

-Temperament...something the owner knows?

-Name...is it the master to decide?

- Do we order it from the official site mentioning we are part of this forum?

Hopefully I'm not boring you, but the lock is fantastic and all the legends around it makes it even more magic...

You've missed the fun when this project was running. It was amazing to feel everyone's excitement and read threads about the colors of the eyes and names for the dragons. About time to start a new lock project!

About dragons:

• Gender ... like with many reptiles temperature of its nest defines its gender,
  but of course you can decide for yourself. See: http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=experts-temperature-sex-determination-reptiles;
  
• Temperament ... it appears the treasure a dragon picks displays its temperament, but some dragons have shown to be quite easygoing;
  
• Name ... when your dragon bonds with you ('impress') most likely its name will come to you instantly;
  
• Summoning ... when you request your dragon it is welcome you share how you learned about these dragons.
  • When the project started we needed to know how many dragons were expected to hatch and to determine the feasibility which was rewarded with a bonus back then. For future reference it is also helpful as we're working on a shop feature to offer a standard discount for contributing BT members. Members who ordered in the past we will be offering an additional award program, but please allow some slack for that as it is a lot to work out.

Thank you so much for all the information and congratualtions for the design, it is such a wonderful creature; I'm sincerely impressed... I was a TB purist untill I saw the dragon...then my faith broke.... can't wait to order it!!!
