Silver and silk wrap
Well, with so many silks around I picked up a few as well...
Must admit the CMs look great, but couldn't tempt me and I got a few silks from a dutch lady which are totally awesome... price wise too... but that wouldn't have kept me from getting one.
I noticed just the silk with a bead or a few just wasn't it for me, so I did something I often do but then with leathers and silver... I braid them...
Faerybeads Dragon Lock, Baby Dragon bead and Dragon Tail silver wrap chain with Turquoise Reflections smooth silk wrap.

That is really gorgeous. Love the woven effect and how the rich coloured ribbon enhances the silver.

Stunning with the silver chain woven in the silk
The Baby dragon is too cute (and still on my wish list )

And the other silks I currently have... prices were € 2,75 - € 3,- from kralencreatie.nl

Gorgeous! Ok, I'm leaning toward silks too. So fun and colorful!

That's a really interesting look. I don't have any silks, but I think that something like this would be more my style as well.
Re: Silver and silk wrap
Thank you for the inspiration, Smaug
I have a bracelet which was just a little too long and tried braiding a silk - now I only need to find a way to tie the ends up without it getting lumpy.
Dangling ends provide an elegant look and it is nice to wear - however not very practical

It is really good to see this use of silk and bracelet plus beads. Really creative and beautiful to see. Thank you.
