Raising Arizona Empty Raising Arizona

Post by stacecase Wed Jun 27, 2012 12:23 am

I've been inspired by several turquoise and amber combinations I've seen on here recently, so I had to make one of my own. These colors just remind me of Arizona and the desert, so I had a loose theme for my silvers too Smile

Topic titles have to be at least 10 characters, and I absolutely LOVE this movie...so that became the title for my post Wink

Recently got several new beads from D4E (World Tour and OOAKs), a really great deal on Elton, and some lovely silvers from fellow trollies...this is the result:

So gorgeous Stacecase... and I have to say... I'm thinking even more and more about a combination like that myself... I think it looks so fresh and sunny. I love the aqua-jaspers, but I don't know if they are still for sale somewhere. Great faceted amber is it Baltic Gold? You have a real nice color...

beautiful bracelet Stacecase, you even used the green eye bead! That's a bead I find difficult to use myself.
I love your doubles!

I loved that movie and I love your bracelet! I have been wanting to get the Old West bead for quite some time. When I first started to seriously collect beads last summer, my first theme was the Old West. Some of my first purchases included Aztec and a striped Turquoise Agate. I love the use of the Seed Bead. It could so be a detail on a Native American's attire. I also love the bead sandwiched between the Seed Bead and the Barrier Reef!
