My Pink Ambers ......

I am sure when I first bought them the year they were released that they didn't have the degree of shading that they're now showing (or maybe I just got better glasses?? )

You have a killer collection of stones and ambers. I love the pink ambers and that nugget amber to the right of them!!

The nugget amber is probably my favourite too. The nugget shaped ambers didn't seem to be around for long, but I love how Trollbeads bring out newer shapes of unique/ooak ambers fairly regularly to keep whetting my appetite for them.

That is an amazing photo!

Amber is very very old. I can't imagine that it would change so quickly?

I remember mentioning them changing before, but you're right and it probably is down to my eyesight.
I love how photographs show the detail in beads you don't always see with the naked eye.

I went to my LD to exchange a bead earlier in the week and forgot my reading glasses - I may as well have been looking at rows of smarties

I keep my beads in a cool, dark place when they're not being worn though.

I had similar feeling about my pink ambers - but when I compare them with the original store stock pic, they still look the same as when they'd been released
Since one of my jaspers has faded, I try to take comparsion pics of new stones/ambers.

You have a fabulous collection and your pink ambers are TDF!

Thanks Sheryl - it was my last new year's resolution to start collecting ambers as I only had the Russians. It was knowing when to stop that was the problem

What a great collection, beautiful pink ambers too.

Love all the ambers, but OMG those Russian pinks are incredible. I don't have any of those yet . . . and you are tempting me to start a search.

Sorry to ask - how many of the ambers are pink? For sure I see three, but what about the two to the left? Are they pink ambers as well?
