Like pottery

When I was a child we had an old air raid (Anderson) shelter at the end of our garden. I used to love digging around up there and found no end of little pieces of pottery, shards of long lost plates and bowls. I can still remember the feeling of excitement as I wiped of the mud to reveal patterns in green and blue, hidden for such a long time.

I think it is this memory that draws me to these cream based beads and I now finally have enough for a bracelet, I like it very, very much, grown up childhood treasure

I am sure that you are right because I had similar experiences with unearthing pottery 'treasures' from the old dead cottages that lived before my parent's bungalow and I also love the cream beads (I have been buying even more from Macrow).
