Re: About Aloha
Oooohhh I really like the Iridescent Barrels she has in the Gallery too:
http://www.charmsofaloha.com/#!gallery
And there's a photo of the double seahorses bead on a bracelet...and it doesn't look too big at all. Very nice as a focal!!

Smaug wrote:Thanks! We got the list too but it was unclear whether these prices are also meant for her website or whether this is a list meant for her resellers (on Hawaii). Didn't want to put her in an awkward situation once these prices should not have been shared, yet. Hence we awaited her registering.mdellanno wrote:Cathleen provided me the list last night. I emailed her from her website (contact information). She asked me how I found out about her beads and I shared the beadthrilled site with her. Was I not suppose to post the list she shared with me?
On the list it says "Suggested Retail" so that would be the public's price, not a reseller's price. But I agree, it's good to verify with her before posting.

I like the silvers, especially the turtles and the rose and ....
Seeing a photo of the actual bead beside the name and price would facilitate any buying for me!
Which one is Aloha?
I love the beads especially on the silk cord. Agree w/ Bluesybeads about a individual picture of bead beside the name would be helpful once her web site is up on running.
Re: About Aloha

Re: About Aloha
I just emailed Cathleen ... I am hoping she has a "Maui" bead. My husband and I were married on Maui. I have a wedding themed bracelet and would love to have a Maui bead to add to it.
I hope she does.

Re: About Aloha
Hi,
I'm Cathleen Bunt. I make the charms you have all just found. I'm happy to sell them to you, if you want. Just email me. (email at bottom of price list or through contact form on website)
It's nice to see so many people are into these charms beads. I had no idea a forum like this existed. Through the miracle of the internet we all get to converse together from opposite ends of the world.
Maybe I'll post my latest ad that shows some of my new designs not on the website yet. Anyone interested?
Thank you Sita for contacting me.
Aloha, Cathleen

I am interested! I will be in Oahu next week. Do you have a store there I could shop at?

Re: About Aloha
Yes, Britton Gallery on the north shore is the best one over there right now. They are in Haleiwa. Phone# 808-637-6505. I guess I should post my stores.
Does anyone know a good web site designer I could work with to finish my website?

Re: About Aloha
Well I'm having trouble uploading a pic. I think I need it in a different format. They don't seem to want to go on photobucket or image shack. Will figure this out and try posting again tomorrow.

Welcome, Cathleen!!
Your designs are absolutely stunning (both the Aloha beads as well as your jewellery). I can't wait to add some to my collection.
Glad you found us (and a big thanks to Sita!), this is a great forum with a lot of wonderful people sharing their passions for beads. We're pleased to have you on board.

Welcome, Cathleen!
I love the beads I've seen so far on your website. I look forward to being able to order them. Also, how many colors of those weirdly wonderful ribbons are there???

Re: About Aloha
Okay, well I guess i figured out how to post a picture because here it is, my first ad.
If you look closely you'll see a few of my new designs. A whale tail, and then the petroglyph sweethearts right next to it - that charm has "Ku'u ipo" written on the back which means sweetheart in Hawaiian. Also the single seahorse and the pineapple.
I'm also getting some glass beads now made here in Hawaii. The 2 fatter blue ones that look like beautiful ocean water are an example.
And the ribbons? There are over 50 colors! Really an amazing selection. Don't even know how to show all of them.
Guess I need to do more photography.

I also love them and wear them all the time with my beads . Pssst: Try KAS Beads or Jamnglass on etsy....
They are a "must have" in the beadmakers scene...

I love the look of the ribbons too but I am curious to see how they are fastened on a wrist.

Just make a knot
For more security slip a bead over both ends, make one knot on each end and knot together both ends. Even if the knot opens, the bead will hold it together. I also use them as a necklace with beads or a pendant on it.

Thanks, I will have to get one and play with it.
