Magpie Kate,
Here is an early bracelet of mine that features just a few glass beads and mostly silvers and it seems to have some of the colors you favor:

That is lovely Beady-Eyed, is that a Pandora bead in there too?

It is a Pandora bead, but once I could afford a TB pearl I quit putting it on my bracelets.

Magpie, I love your collection of silvers! esp. the little Swiss Watch!
take your time, don't rush into buying beads,
I always loved the labradorites...

The Swiss watch is my favourite Catsworld, it was a surprise gift from my OH fortunately I don't have a healthy enough bank balance to rush in to buying beads at the moment, the labradorites are beautiful they vary so much!

AquaAura - I have never heard of Macrow, so I am off to google them! I have no problem trying something from a different brand, or maybe even some artisan beads. They do not have to be troll to be beautiful! Lapis sounds stunning, any pictures?
Hi Magpie Kate - here are a couple of pics of my Macrow Lapis. Not my best pics but I hope they give you an idea of what they look like...

That bracelet is beautiful Beady-Eyed!!
AquaAura the lapis are stunning, I found so many I fancied on their website. I am definitely a stone person...
So I went shopping on Saturday, and found a dealer I had never visited before. I came home with a few stones...
This is actually a very pale pink agate
But I loved its 'glow'
And this turquoise agate came home too..
And this was just love at first sight... Chalcedony..
So I was brave and dismantled my bracelets when I got home, and came up with this... what do you think?

I also did a trade with a troll friend who was after my brown spot, and exchanged it for these two purple/brown jaspers. Not sure what to do with them yet though, any suggestions?
