bright enough for spring? Empty bright enough for spring?

I have a strong preference for dark coloured glassbeads. The golden thread is one of my favourites and I was delighted with the LE christmas-release flowerbead. It goes so well with the goldthread, I ordered a third flowerbead last week (still on it's way).
However: sometimes a bracelet asks for some more light colours especially during summertime.

What do you think? I was surprised how well the chessbead fitted in. I don't have white or beige beads (well, hardly any), do you think the soft green does brighten up enough?

They look wonderful with the dichroic glass too. It's funny how you develop a real affection for a certain bead, isn't it?

Oh yes, by all means, Tinka! This is gorgeous. The beautiful browns and pale greens remind me of the tree branches as the first small green buds start to appear. It's PERFECT for spring!!

Tinka, to me it looks gorgeous! I don't have the golden thread, but I love the silk just as you do the goldthread and I have several of them. sunny

Thanks girls for your nice words!
Sware, I've always loved the chessbead, but never bought it for some unknown reason. This winter it was in the sales at Scandihoovians and I ordered one (at last) . it's a great bead, now I don't understand why I waited so long buying it. As Bowerbird says: it's true affection Very Happy

The only bead in this combo I'm not in love with sofar is the joyful. But maybe in time I will.

LOL, don't know, too dull I think. Or too popular. I didn't have an old joyful, always wanted one. Now the magic has gone.

The LE Christmas flowerbeads are so lovely. I surely want to have a pair of them!. Together with the other beads they make a beautiful combo. sunny
I don't love the joyful either. I know most people love it a lot, but I actually missed the reason why.
