I love the mini-beads

I absolutely love the mini glass-beads, some time ago the beads used to be much smaller, I am collecting those lovely beads and yesterday I found 3 more of them, I especially love the one's with a python-like design, but I also love the beads from the designer set, some of the beads in my animal set are also quite mini..

here are my favourites! if you have any mini-beads, please show them, would love to see them..

There was a whole bunch of them released in January 2009: python/triangle patterns in a wide colour range.

the 3 I found yesterday belonged to my jeweller's daughter, she did not wear them any longer, I am glad I could get them.

My tiniest glass one is the blue one with the white dots, second to the right. My LD had titled it 'Neptune's Baby'



And I have the twin to your blue python pattern one, I call it 'stormy seas'. It's really tiny too!

I like the mini beads too, my tiniest is a pink armadillo which was made for me at a beadmaker event last year. I didn't ask for small, but was hoping for the right shade of pink to match my other pink beads. When it came back from being cored I was surprised to see how small it is but as I like small beads am now very happy with it both because of its size and pretty colour.

I prefer the smaller (and skinny) beads too!

My smallest bead is a really tiny retired green dot, you can see it here (in a photo from last year) between the chai bud (which itself isn't a huge bead) and zigzag. Its friend the central turquoise dot (between the navaho and huge artisan OE) is also very small. As you can see, I do like the green and the turquoise dot beads



(the matte stone-like bead between glass stone and navaho is also an artisan, from Doriwallace, but all the rest are Troll)

Those blue heart beads are lovely.

I just remembered I did a bracelet with small silvers and old small glass beads not too long ago! The yellow one is the biggest and even that one is small compared to current production beads!
