My "The Kiss" trinket box and my Bead Villa arrived!
They arrived today, at the same day! I cant explain how happy I am! specially because I was afraid my order with the trinket box had gotten lost somewhere!
But they are here and I am really really excited!
Be prepared for picture overload.
On my trinket box I put the most precious ring to me, a heirloon piece given to me by my grandmother, a ring that is even a couple of years older than I am. (Im 23, the ring is something around 25 or 30). it is my favorite piece of jewelry, hands down.
the box, it is tiny, but incredibly lovely:
the ring inside it, it is a snake, of yellow gold and white gold. the upper part of the ring is covered in diamonds:
another picture, so you can see the trollbeads logo:
A picture of the ring on my right hand ( excuse the badly manicured hand):
and another picture, to show how the ring looks on the down part. it has scales!!! it really is a piece of art, plus the fact my grandma gave it to me, and it has both yellow and white gold, so I can wear with anything... I don't see any other ring stealing it's favorite position in my heart. maybe a close second, but I can't see myself loving another ring more than I love this one! (and you also can see how much I love my new trinket box, right? right?)

Picture of the front of my bead villa:
picture of the back part, sporting the trollbeads logo:
The front part opened:
on the part for bracelets, are resting my 2 pandora bracelets, still in progress (and someday when i manage to get a smaller pandora jewelry box they will move bead boxes. ):
a view into my huge*cof cof not* troll collection:
the 3 glass beads on the first rod, on the far right, are not trolls, the purple and light blue OOAK is from macrow (it is purple on the background, not dark blue as my camera seemed to want it.) the dark blue with glitter is from njewel and i bought it pre-loved from snork here on the forum and the purple bubbles was made by a member here, wilsche!
the silver that is forever alone on the rod next to it is an ohm bead, a roller skate (all the other beads are troll):
a closer view on my non troll beads:
(again, the background of the OOAK is purple, not dark blue, and those pictures are frustrated attempts to capture its true beautiful colors, but i didnt succed this time)
and a close up on the roller skate from OHM beads, I want to buy a pandora toogle bracelet for this bead to wear it on its own:
Last, but not least, a picture of my 2 mexico locks (you all saw already my greyhounds and my troll locks, so i wont post them again). one is orange and green the other is green and blue (pictures of both sides):

Im only using the rods for now, as I dont have enough beads of one color to make a combo, but i dont see myself using them much in the future either.
I just noticed there is a slight difference from mine (and Catsworld's boxes) to the one I saw a picture of from smaug, for example. in ours there isnt the trollbeads written on top of the glass, and the way the trollbeads logo is printed inside on each level is also different.
Smaugs villa (found the picture on the thread about your 2011 bead year):

and catsworlds villa:
http://www.beadthrilled.com/viewimage.forum?u=http%3A%2F%2F666kb.com%2Fi%2Fc0szesb9ruf7uaig7.jpg
but appart from that I think it is the exact same bead box, maybe the ones with the name on top are some of the first ones
and I am in love with mine!!! dear husband will have a heart attack when he gets home and sees its size though.

I need a Villa too but the cost puts me off when I think about how many beads I could buy for the money! They are nearly £300 in the UK

it costs 289 euros in Germany and £299 in the UK (though i think the shipping isn't that expensive from steffans, so it might be worthy it!)

I know, I have had my finger on the buy button for months now, and just can't quite justify it to myself, if my husband hadn't have gotten me a smaller one for Christmas, maybe.saracat wrote:I need a Villa too but the cost puts me off when I think about how many beads I could buy for the money! Your heirloom ring is beautiful and I'm sure it won't be long before your villa is full up!

Wow, you got some wonderful things there. Love the ring and how special it is to you (it shows ;-)).
And you already have the villa! Yay! I MUST get mine this year, have been putting it off for forever. It is the best way to store your beads (IMHO) and I am sure you will fill it up nicely ;-).

Thank you! I am happy! my grandma has always been one of the persons I love the most in the world (her, my mother, my brother, my father and now my husband. even though i love my other grandma, I grew up in the same house as my mother´s mother, us on one floor and her on the other, so I am really attached to her!)

I thought about it before buying it, as there are so many beads I want to buy, and some are my priorities, but even with not many beads I was getting fed up with putting the beads and bracelets in small boxes and bags. like this I can see them all in one place! Beads will come with time, at least now I have the place to put them on!
Yes, I have the villa! In one hand I'm embarrassed, because i have such a small collection still to have such a big bead box, but I have many years in front of me to fill it up! and I'm sure it will happen faster than I think. lol
I hope you get your villa soon, you will love it as well! I agree with you about it being the best way to storage beads (maybe just loosing for the 450 euros bead box sold at n jewel, but was already hard for me to put 289 euros aside to buy a box instead of beads, even less 450! lol) and i didn't want to spend money on smaller bead boxes that I know I would outgrow sooner or later!
thank you all for the kind comments!

for now it won't! or for a long time! lol
plenty of space still. and if I ever need more space, I get another bead box. lol (but I can't see that happening! how many years were you collecting before yours got full?)

Re: My "The Kiss" trinket box and my Bead Villa arrived!
I am only collecting since the end of december, so only 2 months and a half, in 4 years it will probably be looking like yours, but again, in 4 years from now maybe troll will make another awesome bead box, so I can get another one to make my bead villa company. for now it is happy to be an only child. still didn't decide if it is a boy or a girl. (I like to name some of my things, and the bead villa must be named sooner or later. Maybe i will call it Smeagol? )casarobi wrote:I still have space in my villa!
