Yellow Jade FLAWS? - HELP?!!!
Ok, so I'm a newbie...we all know that by now
But I just received a Yellow Jade that I ordered and it appears to have some flaws. Now I realize this is a natural stone, so some surface variations are expected...BUT at least one of these "flaws" appears to be just that, and not a natural occurance...can you guys please take a look and offer your advice?
Should I go back to the seller and ask for a replacement or just keep it and love it for it's uniqueness??
There are two areas in question.
1. One is a rough place that appears to be a chip or a small chunk out of the stone, one edge is rough and white, like it is a fresh blemish. (I took photos from both angles - right and left)
2. The other is just a spot that the wheel is not a perfect wheel but rather has a little "dent", but this is completely smooth, so appears to be a natural variation. This I can live with, but I'm not so sure about the other one.
Your advice is very much appreciated!!! Thanks!

Re: Yellow Jade FLAWS? - HELP?!!!
Me personally would not be happy...
All the ones I have seen have been more of a smooth wheel shape...
But it's a question if You can love the uniqueness of it
I'm sure it would look great on a organic style bracelet

My yellow jade is also smooth and round. I could understand the small indented area but not the rough/chipped part. My jade has a tiny dark spot deeper in the stone...looks natural to the jade and also makes it unique

Forgot to say, I would return it as well...if you're questioning how it looks and aren't happy, that's all the reason you need to ask for an exchange.

Yep, I agree. I'm not happy with it. Going to ask for a replacement and if that's not available, a refund. Thanks, guys!
