Faerybeads Exclusive - Dragon Scales Chain
This chain is a Faerybeads Exclusive and is hand made. It is not yet oxidized and will be without the caps (picture will follow). We would like to ask you how you would like our second design chain, this Dragon Scales Chain.
As it has to be redeveloped since the former producer can't do it anymore it will take some time before it will be available when there's interest for it.

That is so cool I wouldn't want to cover it up with beads !

So lovely but not sure if it will be comfy as even though I have very little and fine hair on my arms, this might catch?
I take it that this would not fit beads?

Re: Faerybeads Exclusive - Dragon Scales Chain
Interesting, but it doesn't look like dragon scales to me. Dragon scales should be longer and maybe a bit triangular. This looks more like a plucked chicken to me.
JMHO, but I would not buy it.

It does look interesting but it is hard to tell the details. The links look round and I might find it too busy with beads. To be honest, the first bracelet was much more to my liking and now I really wish I had ordered it.

me too. if the one on Facebook isn't available anymore, that makes me sad! because i really liked that one best.
can we still order one for now, from the "old" design?

Or like lots of trumpets from above.
I like that it is different from the usual designs, but I am not sure if I would like to buy it.
I love the first design

I love the first design as well! and if there is no other option, I would end up purchasing one of those...
but the first design... I wanted to buy bracelet chains, and in the future buy a necklace. of this one i wouldn't buy a necklace, and would cover the chain completely with beads. the other chain i would even let a little bit show, because it is so beautiful

Re: Faerybeads Exclusive - Dragon Scales Chain
I will more likely to buy more chains that look the same for I will cover with beads, so to me when I get the first chain design I will still buy more of that.
To me this is very different and may be a small bit to decorated or strong design to go with beads it is more beads we need . JMHO as LindaJo did say.

This is a lovely chain but I prefer the first type because it has a more complex and varied pattern of links.

Re: Faerybeads Exclusive - Dragon Scales Chain
The dragon tail chain is our signature chain and part of the collection, but we're merely inquiring after interest for this chain in order to decide on the production (volume).
The pattern of the scales chain is from Asian origin and has been developed 15 years ago for a fair trade project for local craftsmen to help them earn a living. We're investigating to have it produced by the same community or here in NL or EU as it is extremely labor intensive. We think it would make a great chain for the nature beads of the Faerybeads collection that we have in mind.
But we're asking for your opinion and we're committed to take your comments and wishes into our designs.

Re: Faerybeads Exclusive - Dragon Scales Chain
If this bracelet is labor intensive that will be a high cost?
Is there a way to have a estimate at a price on what is there alredy for I think this will be some thing to think of for us also.

Re: Faerybeads Exclusive - Dragon Scales Chain
It does look like rather like spores or coral. Would it be possible to make a version with greater variation in the size of the circles?
I would be interested to hear an estimate of the cost too.

Re: Faerybeads Exclusive - Dragon Scales Chain
The more I look at this bracelet, the more I like it. It looks like the Classic, small holed, TBs wont fit on it?
I like having different choices when I shop. I think you should offer more then 1 style of chain.
The price point will be very important, I wouldn't buy something that I like somewhat if it is expensive. Especially if I am going to cover it with beads.

Re: Faerybeads Exclusive - Dragon Scales Chain
Of course we're taking an acceptable retail price in consideration. Unless we feel it is of such a quality that we need to add it to the collection even if only for a few.

I love the other bracelet design but I'm not so keen on this one. To me Dragon Scales are flatter and more triangular, this design reminds me of the suckers on an Octopus.

Re: Faerybeads Exclusive - Dragon Scales Chain
Due to some silverbeads I have, I would love to have 1 chain like this (but I think only one), otherwise I like the other chain much better

if the other chain will stay, after i buy two of it i would gladly buy one of those.
i really like this one, but i like the other even more. if both will stay, i think i would end up with both, just to have more choices chain-wise
Re: Faerybeads Exclusive - Dragon Scales Chain
It is a very unique, complex design Sita. I think it is awesome that you are sourcing designs (in addition to the signature Faerybeads dragon tail chain) that will complement the beads you are planning on releasing and really appreciate the opportunity to voice an opinion. Thank you!
Here you go, then:) First impression: it looks like chain mail, and I love it! This chain could easily stand on its own and would make a statement solo, with just a few beads, or just one on a necklace. I think the oxidation will give it more depth too and will probably prefer it oxidized. (It will look more like chain mail when it is darker too, i think:) I do wonder if hairs will catch though, have you worn it yet to see? I like the caps, they finish it off nicely...could you leave them, or even just one, without bringing the price out of reach? Shorter caps would be perfect...and I would definitely buy this, it is stunning. I can already picture it in my mind with the dragon lock and a few of the beads I have seen so far.....
I am very excited to see what you reveal next, the designs are just amazing to date. And thanks again

Re: Faerybeads Exclusive - Dragon Scales Chain
Sita, could you give us an estimative of price for this chain and for the soon to be released beads if possible? I would love to know how much I need to put aside!
