Pink armadillos......

......I just love them, is it just luck when you find one as I notice some of your bracelets have more than one on and I have never managed to come across one? I have Never been a pink girlie girl but pink is featuring heavily in my current bracelets and I really feel that I must have one

What type of pink?

The pale pink or almost baby pink

theres tons of the raspberry ones at my 2 ld's.

I know this problem as well, i am looking for the Pink raspberry dillo.
But these are'nt in the catalog, is it pure luck to still find them at a LD?
Also searching for the pink prism, re-released. Also want to know where you find them:P

Pink dillos and raspberry dillos are not part of the regular production line, so they are not in the catalog. You will find them among Uniques (sometimes called Assorteds, older ones were called OOAKs). You just have to keep looking for them.

The re-released retired pink prisms were offered last year in Australia and quickly sold out. Then some were offered in the US, but only as part of an expensive package including a ring. By now, you will probably have to find one on the second hand market. Ebay, marketplatz, traders like beadsensation, swaps here on this forum or other forums . . .

there are loads of the cherry pink ones for sale xxxx used to be so hard but now there are loads around ,Iexpect this will happen to the pale pink ones eventually x

The pale pink ones are hard to find you sometimes see them on ebay but they can go for quite high prices.

No can't axcess it jet. Wont find one at the LD ok that is good to know.
But if i would like to find the rasp dillo, is it better to go to a LD that isn't that popular or particullar one that is popular:O

with a LD its just pot luck what you may find I'm afraid x when you have more posts wrote a post in the beads wanted section ,you may be lucky x

When searching for specific beads, you just have to try every LD you can get to!

Whenever I travel, I check ahead of time to see what dealers might be convenient to visit.

I am planning to go to every LD here in Holland, And mark them of the map as i go:$ Will be a long task , but oke:D

Be prepared with extra money! And be prepared that you will have to make hard decisions. I always find other beads I fall in love with!

I know this seller. I met her a couple years ago at a troll meet and I got my retired pig from her at a very good price.

Thanks for all your useful advice, my LDs do not tend to have many oaks but I'm sure I will come across one eventually

@purpletibet---marketplatz is a Dutch site, sounds like it's a cross between ebay and craigslist. I heard about it on this forum, but since I don't speak Dutch, I haven't waded into it. Ebay is crazy enough!

It is called Marktplaats (Marketplace). It is for selling second hand things and that could be just about anything. But there are a lot of (fake) dealers on there as wel. But is does look a lot like Ebay only it is without any obligations.
