Retiring 2012 Silvers - Which ones are your favourites? Empty Retiring 2012 Silvers - Which ones are your favourites?

Post by HunnyBunny Tue Jan 17, 2012 5:07 pm

Would love some opinions please. There are numerous silver beads retiring late January and I'm undecided as to which ones I should try to get before local stockists run out but more importantly, secure before the upcoming price increase.

I bought Unity the other day but not sure what others I should perhaps add to my collection, maybe Jugend? I would appreciate any opinions. Smile

Is there a link to what's retiring anywhere?

Isn't the midgard serpent retiring also?
Also which glass ones?

Angles Triangles is a great small bead which goes with most combinations. Likewise Sandi, although I haven't got that one (yet!)

I love my Shortcut, it is a great abstract pattern and I think it looks like a stylised moon.

Fabled Faces and Viking are must haves if you are into Eske Storm or the viking style beads.

I don't have Jellyfish but am tempted to get it before it becomes too rare, as I often do sea themed bracelets.

I love Neither FNF (Big). I am not sure if I am going to get the small version, but it is a great design.

I want Etruscan, Fabled Faces, Walk, and Viking.

Sandi... a lovely little bead and I'm sure I could use multiples of that. I'm sad the Viking bead is retiring too, but I'm not sure I need a second one. Some of the higher price group ones I won't miss at all!

I'm considering getting two Viking beads. Has anyone used them as spacers on a necklace?

Thanks for your feedback everyone and really appreciate it. Very Happy I will have to have to have a good look at Etruscan, Sandi, Shortcut and Angles Triangles when next at my stockist, tomorrow lol. Jump They actually phoned me today with the news that the retiring silvers will not be going up in price straight away here, phew. Gives me more time to make decisions. Very Happy

Sandi, Angles Triangles, Etruscan, Fables Faces and Viking.

I had a good look at Jellyfish yesterday as it is one I had always toyed with but it is just too mahoosive for me.

Also BABY, I love this bead, one of my first ones, it's big, heavy, solid and beautiful, to me it is 'yawning baby' as it looks just like my two when they were tiny and ready for a snuggle Love

I hated baby when I first started collecting, then when I got the humor of it and
how Troll it really is (IMO) I love it. What a funny bead.

I have to buy Mouse on Cheese. It's been on my wishlist since I started collecting TB 2 years ago. I don't know why I haven't bought it yet!
Plus Viking, Fabled Faces, and Shortcut.
