Bowerbeads meets...

the Faerybeads dragon...

The last update about the dragon lock told a bit about set backs we had on the production of the locks. The recent batch was not good in many ways and the caster fortunately credited our substantial order for the locks. We kept a few locks and they got finished.

New batches are scheduled... I'll be back with news about the release soon!

For size reference I did a bracelet with Aether today...

That is just down right FABULOUS!!!!!!! THAT is a proper dragon lock!!!

I am thinking that the Dragon locks will look fabulous on a necklace, but not in the back, on one side with beads below!!! I'm going to try it anyway.

Oh he looks fabulous in all his oxidized glory (you can see the power in his muscles and movement in his wings...did that sound weird? ). Wonderful bower beads collection too, the whole bracelet works beautifully.

It looks fabulous on a FN, but it needs counterweight as this lock is real solid silver...

The elephants bead is a very nice solid bead. The two elephants holding each others tails in their trunks is a fluent design. There's always an elephant facing you. And as usual with Ruth's animal beads they have no bulging scary eyes.

But of course I am highly prejudiced regarding Ruth's designs... It would seriously surprise me if any other brand ever can do an (animal) bead as finely detailed as Ruth's.

Fabulous! Love the elephant and the mouse. The prices are a bit steep but at the rate TBs are increasing their prices and mainstreaming their silver designs... I am looking forward getting the dragon lock to wear on a leather necklace. I wore my leather bracelet as a necklace today with the greyhound and freya locks linked in front and it looked great.

Aether looks amazing, he makes the bracelet in my humble opinion:) he is so finely wrought and yet fiercely rugged at the same time, no small feat. Love! TFS

Aether is all kinds of awesomeness!!! Sita, your lock is breathtaking. I can hardly wait to get the ones I pre-ordered.

I am so excited because I know the lock will be such high quality. He will be right at home on my medieval theme bracelet. There are going to be some AWESOME combinations once the lock is delivered. I can't wait to see everything that our members put together.
