I have heard that there are a few exceptions to that rule - such as 2 Italian sellers.

It's good to bring up the topic of fakes every now and then to keep us on our toes. The combination of fake stamps and Troll doing san inconsistent job of stamping just makes it tougher for collectors to spot fakes. In a way I'm glad my buying has slowed down these days. i'm tempted less by eBay unless it is a retired bead.

Yes, some dealers do buy uncommon and retired beads on ebay, so they can offer them to their customers.
