You're going to love it, I hadn't seen one IRL before mine arrived. It's such a wonderful shade of pink, that changes when the sun hits it. Such a shame it's retired, maybe it's because gold was the only way to make the colour ?

Funny thing is I hated anything pink as a teenager, it was only after my daughter was born that I started to like it. I think it's because 'Pink' meant something completely different from then on.

He's my little Italian bead, I don't know the make. The bead is of the San Marco Basilica in Venice and was bought from the jewellery shop to the right of the Basilica (thanks for the tip Lori). I got married there and my Wedding photo's were taken in St. Mark's square with the Basilica in the background. He cost 25 euros.....and is completely priceless!

I'm so excited to receive my first OPP as well. It's actually here in the country, just arrived via a trollfairy friend from the States :-)

Thanks stacecase, it's one of those beads that you never think you'll actually ever own. I even convinced myself that I didn't want one anyway , but she is well worth the wait. Enjoy!!
