If you are serious about Trollbeads...
... you should consider getting the book "An Icon in Jewellery Design - Trollbeads". I'd thumbed through it at dealers but never seriously thought about buying it until I saw the short movie below.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ez7rmzGjQ7I
The movie made me realize that there was much I did not know about the beads that have possessed me (and my money). The book is pricey but not much more than the price of a faceted stone bead. Lise's comments about what inspires her, the images of beads and the source of their design, the family aspect of the business, all made me want to know more. I can't share images from the book because of copyright issues but the pictures are art themselves. There is a quote from Lise, " A glass bead is a very small object that must contain an unforgettable experience" sums up for me what must go into designing and making these beads. Yes, the price increases, the dealer woes and all the headaches we go through trying to acquire beads sometimes make us wonder if we are slightly mad. It is a good kind of mad, the kind which brings so many of us all over together, and the "Troll" part of the name truly embodies this joy and madness.

hi Trollmoll,
I got the book and from time to time I love to look at all the beautiful pics (I got mine last year X-mas from a dear friend, such a beautiful present) and read the stories,
I can only recommend it!

My local dealer has a copy of that book and any one who wishes can sit down and read all or part any time we wish.
I would rather spend my money on beads.

Amazon uk also have it for sale but I'm not sure about their shipping. The book retails for around £50 with the free mocha bead, it really is very nice

So I took a look at this website, and it would actually be cheaper for me to buy this overseas than to purchase it here in the US! And the mochabead is very cute, I love coffee so that would be a great bead.
I just sent them a question through their contact form to see if they can get a fix on the exact exchange of currency... I am so excited, I really want this book!

Be careful because they might be going to charge you a lot to ship the book overseas.
