I love the organic shapes of the amber next to the china silvers. You have some lovely ambers RD. Must admit that this is how I wear my amber most of the time as well.

I love it BUT!!!!!!! dont want to down the idea as its so lovely BUT!!!!!!!!!!!! the china silvers rub against the beads, its the large flat design so... it may damage the ambers,
I looked at my jades and definately some rub marks so I am only going to wear them on special occasions now.
Please remember that ultimately amber is a natural resin and its quite soft. You can dissolve amber (ok takes a long time but ) in a glass of water. Amber mined is much harder but if you look at the trees sapping .. amber, with the little flies in it.. I see it a lot in gran canaria, if feels and looks rock hard, 1 week in a glass of water and its totally gone.
