Trollbeads will release limited edition Chinese Zodiac beads

I shouldn't complain before mine get here (looks like it won't be till mid next week which makes me want to scream) but I am a dog, and based on the pictures I can't see a dog in there at all! The monkey looks more like a dog! I need to chill I guess.

That is just crazy stupid. That could make those beads extra collectible, but I am not buying into that. They are just too tiny for the money AND I am collecting some of the WT beads instead.

I just received my Ox. While I really like these beads I have to say I was a little disappointed with the size and weight of my bead. Smaller and lighter than the China silvers from the Jade collection.

I am taking my Tiger back to my LD tomorrow, he is too fugly to keep I still have an Ox, Dragon and Snake on layby for when I am feeling richer

I couldn't see the beads IRL and ordered the whole set to decide myself which I'd like. They came today, and to be honest I am so disappointed. The quality of details do not reflect for a bit how fabulous the original LE Chinese silvers were IMO. None of these for me!

I think you all have done the best to put me of them. I have not rushed out to see them yet. So I save a lot of money or a lot of time I dont now yet.

very controversial replies as regards to those Chinese Zodiacs, I got 2 and 3/4 of the old Chinese sets, I have ordered all of the Zodiacs..
now I feel as if that has been a mistake thank goodness I have also ordered some more Bowers to compensate for..

I think it is in our nature to compare al sorts of things but bottom line is what YOU think!

Fairy3, that is nice of you, thank you, I have only seen pics and as I thought I didn't love the dog, I thought it best to order the whole set and mix it maybe with the Hongkong - Beads...
will have to wait when they arrive and then make up my mind,

I have two, and a few waiting for me, definitely they are smaller and yes definitely they are lighter there for perhaps lacking in detail a bit but in the end it's what they mean to you and I think they can look awesome in combinations

Perhaps they were made smaller because people found the older ones to heavy and perhaps it is because they wanted to use less silver but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Mine are stunning just because they represent loved ones and thats fine by me

But the other set was to heavy for me,so i think this is a much better size and weight to wear

Hmmm - saw them in real life today and not really for me - I prefer either bold abstract designs or beads where you don't have to peer at them to try and work out what they are!
