jacaranda blue

these are spring colours where i am from and i was happy with the match until i actually looked at them next to the flowers....


here's a tree, for those of you who don't know them

Feels like jacaranda to me too. What you've got to do is stand about 5 feet away from the blossoms and it will look just like jacaranda to everyone else too!

I didn't know what a jacaranda was until I moved to Los Angeles. Imagine living my whole life without knowing that you could look out on an entire landscape and see nothing but purple trees! Now imagine going through an entire day without be able to wear one on your wrist. Lucky you!

That is a pretty bracelet; I have not heard of the jacaranda tree. It's really a stunner; I love that particular color and can't even imagine seeing an entire tree like that in bloom!

Isn't it amazing!?! You'd think the idea of a tree with purple foliage would be so extraordinary that everyone in the world would know about them even if they'd never seen one. But no. They're a big secret!

Truth is, the purple comes from the blossom and they drop after a relatively short bloom. Most of the year they're a conventional green But when they're in bloom they're spectacular!

And the bracelet has all the elements of it including the silver-brown trunk and the green foliage. I think it'sa wonderful combo that just really expresses jacaranda.

I love your bracelet, it really has that jacaranda feel.
