Christmas is here!

Last Saturday I only popped in for an update on the dragon lock & a brief look on the Christmas beads. No chance of really looking at them with DH & DH getting cold outside waiting for me with the bikes. This morning I checked back and took some beads home...

Must say the Trollbeads glass beads are pleasantly neat sized. The fall release glass beads are huge compared to the sets I got. No silver or gold at my LD so I used a few of the previous winter releases silvers.

First I tried red and greens...



Next the blues...


And then a mix...


Choices, choices... red/green, blues/browns, both? Guess I'll give it soon another try...
Founds also some nice beads from other brands...

I keep flicking up and down and looking at them. They are all equally delicious.

I think I'm conservative - I like the red & green best as a Christmas bracelet, but I'm really in awe of the second combo, it's gorgeous! And your triple bronze pearl is fabulous!

I like the red & green one too. Is there any relationship between the ball of yarn and the knitted silver beads and the cold you're experiencing?

Love the first one best! Very traditional! And Dala Horse is a must for Xmas combos!

Last years we had plenty of snow for a very long time and it is indeed already getting very cold here.
I'm not 'designed' for living in a cold climate.

The first one is super Christmassy, the second looks fit for an ice queen, but the third one wins my heart it is stunning.

All three are beauties ... but I still prefer the blue kit Although I think the Red Kit really symbolizes christmas better! I will (hopefully) be seeing the kits tomorrow ... wonder if just the blue kit (and RD's birthday gift) will make it home with me pretty doubtful

I am most impressed with the brown triple pearl! Gorgeous.

Have just purchased a dala horse myself, so pleased to hear they belong on Christmas combos. Looking forward to the red set, now I see how good they look.

The first combo is gorgeous and super Chrstimassy but I tend to feel that red and green gets so overdone. So my favourite is the second one, deliciously icy!

I think they are all 3 lovely in their own way.....and thank you for reminding me that it is time to get Dala horse out of the bead box and onto the middle of a bracelet! He is probably feeling quite out of it!
