Dia de los Muertos
Dia de los Muertos - Day of the Dead bracelet.
Had you told me 2 years ago I would wear a skull on my bracelet, I would have said: NEVER!
But then I got the Bead of Fortune and when I saw a TV reportage about the Mexican festivities on the All Saint's Day and the way how people were celebrating and remembering their deceased loved ones with brightly painted 'Sugar Skulls', they lost all threat for me. This is Rebalifrog's 'Day of the Dead' skull and I'm looking forward to the Sugar Skull Amanda announced!

Nice mix of beads. I think the tupilaks look a bit like skulls too.

Yes, after I took the pic, I already switched one of the turquoise beads for an orange one to represent the yellow/orange marigolds. I could also add my daisy glass OOAK, now that's a thought !splinty wrote:It's perfect mermaidspurse, a wonderful celebratory bracelet ~ and I see you have the mexican marigold colours too, I love it

Fabulous bracelet MMP. We've all got a skull, why not enjoy one (or two) on your bracelet too!

Great bracelet MMP. I'm wishing for a skull bead now myself. I didn't think I wanted to wear one either but since our trip, that has changed. I'll probably start with bead of fortune.
We saw an amazing church near Prague decorated all in bones. Here is a picture from it. Be sure to enlarge. This chandelier contains all the bones found in the human body.

I absolutely love your bracelet. It's very original, funky with an exotic inspiration that is visible in both the colors and the choice of silver beads.
The chandelier does make me feel unconfortable
