Here's a combo to honour my favourite band R.E.M. who announced the end of their career this week Crying or Very sad

I'm very sad that they decided to call it an end, but I'm thankful for all the good music they made. The scroll is engraved with a verse from my favourite song 'Find the River'.

When I heard they quit, I immediately thought of you and lyric_girl, MMP. To be honest, I didn't know they had been making music together for 31 years Shocked

. From what I can gather from their own statements, they have the feeling they 'did it all' which is a good moment to stop I guess? Smile

No, I'm not upset at all... I'm a fan but not obsessed and when they said they quit because they had the feeling they couldn't write anything new that would be better or outstandingly different to the songs they did, I also thought: "Wise decision!"
To be honest, I liked their 90s music the best anyway and I can hear that again and again. It's sad they stopped but I can understand them well (and I'm sure they made a little money they can live on Laughing
