Frankie and the stones

No, not a new rock group but a combo with fiery-eyed Frankie the baby dragon from redbalifrog. He plays well with the ancient stones and Norse silvers and never fails to look fiercely cute. His detail is incredible down to his little claws and I am looking forward to introducing him to Beadthrilled's dragon lock. The combo is a semipermanent one I've posted on another forum. It was inspired by (if I remember correctly) Snorkmaiden's William Morris combo.

With that title I expected to see a Freddy Mercury bead and bracelet to commemorate his 65th birthday ! But a dragon combo is even better, now I'm just wondering whether the name is Freddie or Frankie? No matter, the combo is fab!

He's wonderful ~ I love the way he curls round and the way he rests his head ~ and the garnet TB definitely looks like a favourite perch of his!

I think his eyes look soft and soulful. I love the way beads look differant to us. now when I look at the eyes I can see both soft and scary. Truely unique bead.

Whoops! It is Frankie, as on redbalifrog's site. Freddie Mercury - who is more of my generation than Frankie Valli - must have intruded on my consciousness on the occasion of his birthday.

Maybe his eyes reflect a cross between a European dragon and an Asian dragon. The first being fierce; the second brings good luck. It's a beautiful combo.
