You can often buy new re-released versions of that lock made by the original designer from the Diamonds4Ever website.

Have been admiring this a lot, I don't wear my china set often because the bright colors of the jades are really not my style (and I worry about the fading) but this is a fabulous alternative! It's absolutely beautiful and much more wearable. Wonder if it would be difficult to find 9 jaspers in different colors like yours....hmmm, this could be a new quest for me--thanks for the inspiration! Smile

Your jaspers are lovely but I still like the original jades, faded and/or unfaded. My daughter spent a year teaching in Korea where she saw a lot of dyed jade so having beads whose color was enhanced doesn't bother me. After all I had "enhanced" hair for years. Laughing

LOVE it! The soft colors make the detail in the Chinese silvers stand out. I also love my older jaspers for their subtle colors and elegant shapes.

I am agreeing with you again, Pond. I like the jades for all the reasons you mention including enhanced hair, and to add, they are part of the whole of the original design by the Chinese artists themselves. I like to honor that too.
Agree again with your previous post, the silvers look good wherever they're used.
