Almost finished....

Here is my almost finished first bracelet. As I mentioned in the post where I showed pics of my first 3 beads, this bracelet is very, very special to me as it was made in honor of my deceased parents who gave me the very best childhood memories of summers at the Jersey Shore.

My original plan was to keep with only the colors of light blue, amber and cream, but once I saw the soft green color of my sister's Florence bead I knew I had to have one (ok, two) in addition to the fact that my favorite grandma's name was Florence. You'll see the feisty little scottiedog managed to find his way onto the bracelet, and that is for my "baby", Duncan, who is my sweet 4 yr old scottish terrier. I have a feeling he'll find his way onto EVERY bracelet I put together

All that is missing is my Maria Nielsen octopus bead that should be coming sometime next month

This is so pretty, the soft gentle colours are lovely and it is a special memory and meaning bracelet too. You are lucky there is a bead for your dog's breed, I wish there was a Border Terrier one.

This is a really beautiful first bracelet.

I love the way that your bracelet sparkles with joyful memories. (I also adore Duncan. I am one of 3 sisters and our later Mother sends us 'Scotty Sightings' to cheer us up. We always say a big hello to the dog......and the kind owner.)

Stunning bracelet, I am a big fan of the Florence bead and it works beautifully in that combo, I'll have to try it with those colours.

Thank you all SO much for your kind words! I really appreciate having this forum to give me ideas of what colors and silvers blend nicely because there are so many talented TB ladies here and a lot of inspiration can be found in just this section alone

I wish too that TB would come out with more dog breed beads as our dogs can be such special members of our family...I forgot to mention, that is Duncan in my avatar ..but you have probably figured that out by now, heehee.

Lovely to see how you have filled up your bracelet Jingles. I remember seeing the start and thinking it would turn into a beautiful bracelet when it grew up and behold . I don't know if I commented on your earlier post, but I'm very happy you found trollbeads to create a beautiful reminder of your parents.
