Moving day

... for my beads! After many years in several crammed cigar boxes and travel pouches, they could finally move into their new villa which is almost finished now. As you can see, there are a few rods still missing in the upper compartment (DH has to cut them yet). And there is the same space as a drawer below which I still have to line with the green felt.
EDIT: as you're all praising the artisan talent of my DH, he didn't make the box, I bought it ready made! All he did was cutting the metal rods for the upper compartments and has to do some more! I sawed the openings for the rods, fitted them in and lined the box, but essentially it's a ready-made box
!

How beautiful! You are lucky to have such a lovely collection and a fitting space for it as well as a thoughtful and clever husband to create such a wonderful thing.

Great looking Trollbead box mmp and fantastic collection of beads...
you now just need to put legs on it and you'll have a new coffee table (like the one in the Acotis pic's)!!

I love the idea of compartments for loose beads, made up bracelets and necklaces as well as the rods, it's tailor made for sure or even mermaidspurse made
