Boring Chinese Silvers
Ho-hum. Nothing very exciting here. Just a half-bracelet with my new Chinese silvers.
I threw some dark glass beads together with my new silvers, just to try them out.
Simple, no stunning, elaborate design here.
But I love the way the Chinese silvers feel! Solid, heavy, smooth rolling.
Like a massage for the wrist.
I'm halfway there, I've five more to get!
Special thanks to BT Troll friends in western Canada and the Netherlands for getting me started on the Chinese silvers.

There is no way that a bracelet with China silvers could ever be boring. Love your design with the double flowers and Black Silk and I adore mini bracelets.

Boring!!!????? I find it hard to stop wearing my Chinese Silvers once I start. I just keep changing what goes between them. Love your blue and black Chinese scheme.

"Boring". Made you look!
No, of course the Chinese silvers are not boring. But it's just a simple design, nothing that will stop traffic.
@lecohen: the 3 small silvers are stoppers from a department store brand (in the US). Don't Debham's or Marks-n-Sparks have their own version of bead charm bracelets? Maybe not, maybe it's not a large enough market in the UK.

The Chinese silvers look very elegant with dark beads. Nice start to your bracelet.

Re: Boring Chinese Silvers
Agree completely, terribly boring!
Especially as a mini combo with those cute engraved stoppers (what are they btw?) and with those Chinese silk colours. Bore us again when you have collected the other five Chinese silvers and made the complementary mini combo with red silks, please do!

I adore the chinese silvers, I have 2 complete sets and would never part with them! Your bracelet is most beautiful, Silk and double flower belong to my favourite glass beads.

Not boring at all!! I love the China silvers as well. The detail in them is great. Looking at yours made me have a look at the 2 I have (currently on my wrist). I am going to have to try them in a samll combo.
Also love those end beads. Can you please share which department store they were from.

Thanks, sakyubc.
The end beads are stoppers from Belk's department store, in the southeastern US. Only in-store, not online. Kohl's department store chain carries a lot of the same beads, I'm not sure about the stoppers. With either store, wait until they have one of their sales.

Re: Boring Chinese Silvers
I like your stoppers very much! So much more interesting than the plain, plain, plain TB's stoppers. I just can't figure out how they manage to get people to pay $20 apiece for them...
