NEW BRACELET COMBO CHALLENGE!!!

Hello....it's time to have some fun here!!!
Get creative and make a combo, send me the pic and win some beads!!!

Here are the rules:
Only one entry per person.
Pic will not be "fixed" in any way, so be sure to PM me with the pic EXACTLY like you want it to look.
This contest will run through the end of August.
All photos will be posted by Sept. 3 - I have to do this on a weekend....
I will first post all the pics and by POLL voting (I hope I can manage that, if not, I will recruit help) the top 10 will be determined.
The top 10 will then be posted again for final voting of 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
The first place winner will get 3 BeadBuddies beads - a blue sapphire, a ruby and a surprise bead....I PROMISE it will be worth it to wait!
2nd and 3rd place will receive 1 bead each. Still contemplating on those...
Cost to play...........ZERO, nada, etc....so there is no excuse for not playing!!!
Any comments, please make them on this thread and leave the Pic thread for pics...I am afraid I'll get mixed up, so help me out here please!

Here is the inspiration. This is a bead I just purchased from Laurie Geller. I've bought a good many of her beads over the years, and she is a fantastic bead artist. The name of this bead is Ravens Calling. I will make this into a pendant as soon as the bead gets to me. This bead is not for sale, nor will it be part of the prize!



Most of all, HAVE FUN!!! I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with !!! I am so excited!

Just to clarify, Trolldog, (and first of all thank you for coming up with another great challenge and sponsoring such great prices !) are we supposed to send in combos for the theme 'Raven's Calling' or should we get inspired by this bead's colour scheme?

Whichever inspires you most MMP...This is for fun, so I'd like as few rules as possible so everyone can participate... Maybe someone hates the bead, so they can make a raven's calling combo...it's all up to your imagination!!!

You are most welcome for the challenge and prizes!! Not everyone is in a place to purchase beads all the time...this is a chance for some freebies! May the best combo win!!!

This sounds like great fun! I haven't been a member long enough to know that there were contests like this. DF will probably think that I have gone bonkers with the troll play.

I know Sil......I thought of that... Why do you think I gave myself 3 days to have all the pics posted.......I figure there will be no entries until after the 26th.......LOL LOL LOL Then they will all come in at once.....Oh dear....I guess I need to try and find out how to do a poll...if I am even allowed to do that. It will be fun....when I think of inspiration all I can think about is that berry combo you did with your wonderful pudding was it??? Or cake? Anyway, I think I will always remember that as THE most matching inspiration I've ever seen!!! Both the cake and the combo were perfect and gorgeous!! You can post your pic here if you want to so people can see what I mean. We might have some newer members who did not get to see that.

In case someone does not understand...Sil created that combo from her inspiration (or interpretation) of the summer pudding. This challenge, you are supposed to create a combo from your inspiration of the Ravens Calling Bead, or just the name if you hate the bead...LOL

Come on everyone...make some combos already!!!

I will have a try at entering then. I am not a great combo maker though, not when colours are out of my usual comfort zones!

Well.....I couldn't find a suitable picture, and if I had found one, I'd have had to chase down the owner to get permission, and it was just too much trouble...LOL Try something different Loopy...you never know what you might come up with and just love and never want to take it apart!!!

I love the pendant-to-be bead and what a great idea for a competition! I've got a few ideas but I need to wait until we are home from holiday so I can have all my beads in front of me and hopefully some inspiration will come.

Another picture of my pendant after I got it "wired"...I don't do wire wrap any more, as it hurts my hands too much, and I am not very good at it...All you professional wire wrap people, please do not laugh too hard...I do have more beads on the necklace, but am choosing not to show those until after all entries are in...I have a couple that are in some entries, so I don't want to create a situation of unfairness.
